“Maintain Your Loyalty to God’s Kingdom”

True Christians attach great importance to loyalty and neutrality. Jehovah's Witnesses are also known for that.

The Shaking Continues: The Most Dangerous Volcano In Mexico Has Erupted In Spectacular Fashion

This article has been found on the site endoftheamericandream.com. It is interesting to note that the author makes the parallel with the prophecy of Jesus in Matthew 24 & asks his readers to their point of view on this subject. Is this mean that there are people other than Jehovah's Witnesses who are able to plunge their gaze into the deep things of God?

Prophecy against the congregation elders

I just recently understood the prophecy that tells that the "shepherds" among Jehovah's people will be dismissed by Jehovah God. I had for years wondered how that possibly was going to take place practically? I wondered how the elders would all around cease to be shepherds? But finally I have now connected that to other prophecies that explain in detail how that is going to happen.

A Conversation Regarding 1914 (Spoof)

The following is a hypothetical conversation that one of Jehovah’s Witnesses might have with a person who is knowledgable of the Bible, as opposed to the typical householder. Let us imagine that a Witness named Cameron has returned to the home of a man named Robert. This spoof is based upon the November 2014 Watchtower edition for the public

When Will Jehovah’s Witnesses Go into Captivity to Babylon the Great?

At the October, 2015, Annual Meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Governing Body put forward yet another revision, in what has become an annual, piecemeal revision of prophetic interpretation. All of which is attached to 1914 in one way or another.

Imaginando El Paraiso

Does Jehovah even have anything to do with Jehovah’s Witnesses?

I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I am not disfellowshipped nor have I disassociated myself. I still go to meetings on occasion, but I’m what is considered inactive. My interest is that you still hold true to the teaching of Jehovah’s witnesses but yet not everything. Although I was raised a Catholic, I never believed Jesus was God, or hell fire, or in the immortality of the soul and Idolizing the saints. As a result of this it was very easy for me to accept and become one Jehovah’s Witnesses And so I too believe the basic doctrines which by way were believed since the time of Russell. My problem is that I am stumbled over the attention that is given to what is revered to as “God’s Organization.” Instead of trying to strengthen our faith in God’s Kingdom they want us to look to “Jehovah’s Organization”. And so this prelude was just hopefully, to help you better understand my question. How much involvement does Jehovah actually have with “Jehovah’s Organization”.

Who are the twenty four Elders in the book of Revelation? According to the Watchtower the 24 elders represent the 144,000 as a group. Do you agree with their interpretation?

How will every eye see Jesus and those who pierced him?

If Christ will not have a visible return to earth, then how will he be seen by “ALL the tribes of the earth” (Mt 24:30) and by “EVERY eye” (Rev 1:7) when he returns?

“Truly I tell you today – you will be with me in paradise”

Jesus uses the phrase “Truly I say to you, …” over 50 times in the Bible. In the NWT, the comma is placed after the word “you” every time except in Lk 23:43, where the comma is placed after the word “today”. Why is the comma placed after “today” instead of after “you” in this verse? If the translation of this phrase in Lk 23:43 was consistent with the translation of this phrase in all the other verses in which it appears (see concordance), and the comma was placed after the word “you”, how would it read?

What about the preaching work of Jehovah’s Witnesses?

If the WT has been in such egregious error before Jehovah purporting a supposed lie of 1914, and willfully doing so….how do we explain Jesus backing and blessing the preaching work of the last 100 years? Honestly, I’ve never understood how we apply Matthew 24:14 over the last 100 yrs. It makes more sense to apply it to a very impactful, swift and compact hard hitting ministry work, say 3.5 yrs. But, if as you state, the WT has offended Jesus and God over the 1914 debacle, what do you call this last 100 years of JW history? Was it blessed or not? What was its purpose, etc., if the WT is to be damned in a way?

About God's Gratitude

We do not doubt that God manifests love in the most perfect way. He is the God of all qualities. But sometimes, we do not have full awareness of the way in which he demonstrates his other qualities, such as gratitude. This monograph attempts to demonstrate the scope of the gratitude of Jehovah to his son. Our turn to cultivate this quality, towards God and towards our neighbor. This text is an excerpt from an article on the site MusingAboutGod.com.

How is it that Jesus is a son of David?

QUESTION: Since Jehovah God is the father of Jesus, how is it that on Matthew 1:1-16 listing the genealogy of Jesus says that he is related to Joseph? Joseph never had relations to Mary until after Jesus’ birth, so his genetic material was never part of Jesus’ conception.  Thus, how is it that Jesus is a son of David, son of Abraham? Was, perhaps, Mary also part of the house of David?  Or is being the step-son of Joseph good enough to fulfill that prophesy?

Babylon the Great – What is it?

One of the most intriguing mysteries of Revelation has to do with the identity of the symbolic Babylon the Great. There are various interpretations of what “Babylon the Great” represents. For example, one of the latest interpretations is that Babylon the Great is America. Others think that it is the old Roman Empire or the Vatican. In fact, back in the 1850’s Alexander Hislop, in his book The Two Babylons, made a compelling case that the Catholic Church is the symbolic harlot. The Catholic Church, though, says that they are not the great harlot, but that apostate Jerusalem and pagan Rome fit the profile of the whore of Babylon. How can anyone know for sure what Babylon the Great represents?
